On Friday, July 1, 2016, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met. Meghan was in London to promote the new season of her television show Suits. Prince Harry had recently returned from France, where he had helped commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme. During the couple’s BBC engagement interview, the Duke of Sussex claimed that he fell in love with Meghan “so unbelievably rapidly” and that the “stars were aligned” for them.

“I’d never seen Suits before. Meghan was someone I’d never heard of before, “he added.
“And I was pleasantly delighted to see her when I entered that room. And there she was seated, and I thought to myself, ‘OK, I’m going to have to raise my game here and sit down and make sure I’ve had the decent talk.'”
Harry and Meghan first met in July 2016, and their engagement was confirmed on November 27, 2017. As a result, the pair dated for 16 months before Harry proposed.

We can see how much they love and respect each other by the way they hold hands and interlace their fingers.
